RNDDH
Vision and Mission Statement
We live in a world of conflict and crisis, where
much death and despair abound. But we also live
in a world filled with seeds of hope and the
unyielding belief in the sacredness of humanity.
It is this belief that ultimately prevails, as
witnessed in the courage and strength of people
everywhere fighting for a better world.
The fight for the respect and protection of
fundamental human rights regardless of rank or
social class, political association, economic
status, race, or religion is a concrete symbol of
this belief.
Where one finds the sovereignty of a State of
Law, one finds a true democracy. Where one finds
peace and stability, one finds the uncompromising
supremacy of basic human rights.
This is the working philosophy of the RNDDH, an
organization striving to institutionalize human
rights in Haiti.
RNDDHs mission and raison dêtre is
to create and sustain a popular human rights
culture while striving for the establishment of a
State of Law in Haiti through the effective
monitoring, promotion, protection and defense of
basic human rights.
