The National Human Rights Defense Network (RNDDH), concerned with the public's right to be accurately informed on the human rights situation in Haiti, has decided to publish a quarterly newsletter called the Human Rights Indicator.
This newsletter is not intended to replace RNDDH's investigation reports, press releases, denunciations, or public statements of the organization's standpoint and positions on various issues. Rather, the intent is to provide a concise summary of the general human rights situation in Haiti for the period covered.
In publishing this newsletter, RNDDH hopes to provide a service to the public and to reinforce its mission to engage in the struggle for the establishment of Rule of Law in Haiti wherein these rights are respected by one and all.
RNDDH welcomes comments and suggestions to help improve the content and quality of this newsletter in order to better serve the public's interest.
